Echo App

Branding • Experience • Interface

Echo app helps users to watch streaming shows from their phones, purchase tickets easily and comfortably, and get information about shows nearby and abroad. Designed as part of a UX-UI design course.

01

Background

There is a large audience of people who enjoy going to live shows but are unable to do that for a variety of reasons (distance, money, etc.). All these people are a missed audience both for the artists and the venues.

The business of live shows is missing a single place to purchase tickets for shows in all genres, many of the existing websites and apps redirect the users to other websites making the ticket purchasing experience difficult and unfriendly.

Process

Defining Goals

My goal was to give the user a solution to be able to enjoy live shows they couldn't physicaly go to, creating a place for the audience to see artists’ updates, show info, and ticket purchasing in an easy, fun, and engaging app.

Experience & Design

I wanted to give the users an all-in-one app that gives them the feel of something new and edgy but is still easy to use for all user types. Efficiency was essential to design the user experience.

Branding

Branding breakdown

The dark theme in the app resembles the dark music venues found in live shows. I used bright and young accent colors in order to make the brand appealing and bold.
