The app helps people find travel destinations based on their desired weather, and plan their trip according to the local forecast. Designed as part of a UX-UI design course.
People rely on many things when selecting their next travel destination. One of the factors many travelers find crucial is the weather in the country they are visiting. Some like cold weather for their European ski trip while others might prefer water-skiing in the hot sun.
Planning a trip based on the destination’s weather is not an easy thing to do, especially when moving from city to city or cross-country. Weather changes can affect the planned attractions in those locations and could result in last-minute changes in plans.
My goal was to design a traveling app that focuses on the weather predictions and not just the attractions and accommodations for travelers that find the weather to be an important factor when selecting their next travel destination.
The app was split in two based on the user's weather preferences between hot and cold weather, simplifying the search of destinations to just one key factor.
