Planter App

Branding •  Experience • Interface

Planter is a tracking app that helps every house plant enthusiast take care of their plants, with easy to use features and a user-friendly design. Designed as part of a UX-UI design course.

Background

Many people buy plants in order to bring a touch of nature into their houses, but making sure the plants are well-nourished and healthy is always not an easy task for most busy people, who don’t have green thumbs, resulting in wilted house plants and broken hearts. 💔

The process began by coming up with an idea for tracking progress of any kind. What I envisioned was an app that highlights how to take care of house plants. I found that no app on this spectrum gave me enough features and possibilities in order to take care of plants.

Defining Goals

My goal was to give the users an app to track the watering schedule and manage their list of plants. The app features all information they need including plant growing tips and each tip is based on each individual plant's needs.

Experience & Design

The app design is clean and fresh while offering an informative and visual place to track the health of the plants including a growing process gallery and watering notifications.
